	Ideas for Making the World a Better Place Sustainable, Clean Energy/Environmental Approach To make the world a better place I suggest turning off the electricity and stop the use of oil products. Make it impossible to have energy unless it is wind, hydro or solar energy. Shrink the commerce of goods that is polluting the world and the information that has proven so dangerous. Honesty and Revealing the Truth About Aliens Tell everyone the truth about the extraterrestrials and their presence here and why they are here, via the world communication systems, simply by emailing (for a start). Furthermore honesty is required. Economic Approach Spread economic prosperity, period. Think about it, one reason so many are pulled to extremism is a lack of hope for the future. Prosperity breeds hope which is the armor needed to combat extremism. People who are working and have a hope that they can provide a future for their families are too busy, tired and might I say it happy, to be blowing themselves up and shooting at people. This is true for poor people everywhere, from NYC to Iraq. Adopt a Global View of Things Actually, making the world a better place can not be accomplished with just changing one thing. Making anything better involves a series of changes made by more than one person. If everyone came together and swallowed their pride, took a close look at their behavior, and decided to change or improve on something the over all affect on the world would be tremendous. Maybe there would be more kindness, peace, love, harmony, and all the other great qualities that would make a better world. So, I guess the short answer is to move past focusing on one thing to make the world a better place and begin to focus on all things. Focused Problem Solving In solving any analytical problem team people up into those that are left brain thinkers. In creating a new unique item or method team people together that are right brain thinkers. To oversee your teams of people use people that view the world from both sides of their brains. The squares see the world as a whole and utilize the ideas of the left brainers and the right brainers. Multi-Pronged Approach 1: We do not use oil anymore for traveling but electricity or sun energy. 2: We don’t need politicians do decide for us, we need them to count all our voting, I mean to say if we decide something people must all vote for it. 3: Destroy all weapons on earth. 4: On school we also learn to accept each other and be nice to another. 5: Parents must learn how to be a good parent. 6: Every human being needs a collective kind of money, this is a right, we all get each month a certain amount of money and we can decide to get more by working so there will be no poor people anymore. 7: There are no countries anymore we are the whole world. Self-Improvement/Medication/Spiritual/God Approach How to make 'your' world a better place? If everyone understands who he/she is NOT and goes back to the root of all that is, your I am, the ever-present awareness/witness which has been changeless forever ... Everyone should start with himself/herself, and not look for outside 'causes', and instead look 'inside' for example through meditation. Start with yourself. If everyone does this, the world will change, and it's happening already. Environmental Solution Restore the ecosystem in the world’s oceans. Environmental Solution Build huge refrigerators to stop the global warming! Abolish Religions No more religions would help a lot. Economic/Financial Let there be no more money. Economic/Financial Let people vote about how much money, 1 person should be allowed to have. I think 3 million dollar should do the trick. It wouldn’t bother me if I couldn’t have more, would you ?? Capitalistic Communism!!! Technological Solution I think what would make the world a better place is more ideas that would make us less reliable on fossil fuels, like gasoline, oil and other ingredients, so far as a race we've came this far without destroying ourselves, so why waste our lives and destroy ourselves in a simple cave man-like way? I think instead of spending billions of dollars on other projects that don\'t make sense, we should spend the money on a project that helps our own world, like creating a cheap fuel out of other elements around us, a car that runs on oxygen? Or better yet, a car that runs on carbon monoxide in the air and converts that into clean oxygen. Raising Children/Child Participation My idea is starting with the kids and teens. The government should pay for stuff like air conditioners or heaters to schools so kids could have good conditions there. Other is there should be a class where the kids learn how to behave etc. If kids meet some bad conditions at home they should be put in a place where they can be treated nicely until the conditions at home would be good. The kids are the future of the world and they need to be taught to play fair and do what is best for the world. Teach the kids to like studying and be nicer to all. Discipline classes would be a good thing. Going to adults and politics. There should not be a death penalty for the criminals but a sentence for life and all in solitude. When you would leave a person in company they would maybe get more aggressive. Not complete solitude because the criminals should also have someone to teach them emotions for others. Show them the way they have been wrong. If they believe in a religion of some kind they should get the priest or the leader type person from this religion and also a psychiatrist. They should not try to convert anyone to other religion that\'s what they should be taught too because no one knows what religion is true. The government should also act out to help more. They should try to do everything in a non-violent way as possible because violence just will bring more violence, and hatred. We should leave the other nations alone. Only if they try to do something nationally dangerous then we should act but in non-violent, negotiating type of way. All nations should try to negotiate with each other in this way that will make it pleas-able. But many people might take advantage of that, so that's where police and schooling come into place. All nations should try to set up a national police force. If one committed a crime in one nation they could be arrested in the other nation if they ran away from it, and try to get type of disciplinary schooling there. This is my idea of the actions taken. Hopefully all can one day be in peace. It is my dream for the world to be in peace. I am only a child asking for this because I have seen violence and experienced it. I know the world can change but only if we start with the kids. Because changing the adults now is basically impossible. But the solitary jailing should start ASAP. This is my idea to give to you and hopefully it will come to effect one day. I am only a teen. Still a kid, but even kids should be able to have a say in this world, n the politics. Maybe if kids could have more say, there would be less violence between them. Economic/Financial The funds currently being directed toward unemployment should be used to build manufacturing facilities. Thos able to work are put into positions, while those unable to do those jobs would be redirected to child care or similar areas, freeing those with children to work. The factories would manufacture items usable within the area, making each region self sufficient. Surplus goods would be sold or traded for items unable to be made within the region. Education, Tolerance, Raising Children In today's world there are many many problems. From things like famine, poverty and war on a global scale down to bullying, crime and pedophilia on a much more local scale. There are many things that aren't even listed here and perhaps many more which as an individual I probably am uneducated about and am not even aware of but of the troubles listed, some of them could probably be solved if the global community could just come together and focus the wealth, intelligence, time and effort the world has to offer on them. It is my personal belief that the lack of progress on such issues stems from the basic fact that humankind has diversified to the extent that conflicting views can no longer be accepted. We look to our past and still hold to mind the injustices done to us by our enemies. It is no longer the case that we can forgive and forget nor can we live and let live. That's why we cannot work together for a global benefit. To begin rectifying this I think the global population will need to undergo a most basic revolution of thought. So as we squander billions in foreign policies and wars I propose to put an end to the restricted freedoms of our existence today. What once used to be the most basic human right fought for in blood by many, we have come to the extreme of censorship and legislation. Free speech is no longer a true right. Nowadays someone may say something even slightly controversial and overactive human rights and environmental agencies will start complaining and shouting and protesting before the point of view is even explained or apologized for. Yes I do understand that in many cases such as celebrities and powerful politicians that their views and actions will directly have an effect on entire populations and there are cases where intervention becomes necessary. But in the current direction we are moving in, I see the younger generations growing up in a world where it seems to be acceptable to sue, bully and even kill those that do not conform to the norm. That is truly a cause for concern. What needs to happen is an education of our future leaders - our children. We need to teach them to be true to their beliefs but to accept each others beliefs too, wherever possible trying to understand another persons view. To teach them that while they may see others doing things disapproved of by themselves, their elders or their community that other people have their own ways. That it does not endanger their own beliefs as long as they know what it is that they believe and they stay true to that. Then small insults such as the voice of an opposing belief, an action or a cartoon that goes against an individuals thoughts would not cause the global stirring that it does today and leads to some form of new apology or legislation. If we could all learn to be ourselves, allow others to be themselves and recognizes that fundamentally we are the same race of people. Then perhaps united as a global community we could set to work solving the bigger threats that all humanity faces as one. Spiritual Solution - Stronger Role for Religion/Need for God Our world is going down the tubes fast because we've kicked God out of our society. Ask Him to return and forgive us is the only way the world will get any better. Nothing else will work. Spiritual/Moral/Perspective Solution Dear souls, At my experience and knowledge is this world the best place to be. It is not the world that has to be change because the world/earth is perfect. What needs a dramatically changing is OUR MIND who puts the world in a bad context. If I had to take a decision for “a better world” how we used to say, I would recommend schools to give lessons in: 1. Spirituality beside others. 2. Breathing (in the right way to stay in your center and cool the mind) Zen Hara For prisoners especially terrorist: 1. Have to follow lessons in Voice dialogue (to know and embrace there divine connection with the spirit that can turn their thinking in a positive way) 2. Family sculpture (in the prisoner to eliminate all negative attitude in there family and the energy that makes them a criminal) At least I would like to teach the world religions to thank and heal all the water on this earth and be thankful for the reality. Economic/Financial Solution Let all the multinationals be charged with 5% extra taxes. They will still make huge profits and these taxes can be used for healthcare, schooling, and environmental support etcetera. Technological Solution My Idea is all about recycling plastics. Recycling is not a new idea anyway but I could still add a thing or two to improve our way of life or "death?” Plastics are common in the Philippines (bottles, bags, etc.). My idea is to recycle plastics to make coffins! Coffins in our country are too expensive for the average person and we are using too much wood for it. So, to save wood, money and our environment, just recycle the plastics to make cheap molded coffins. If I ever had the funds for it I will start my own business. Technological Solution The Seiko Kinetic Watch charges itself through movement (kinetic) energy. Why can't this kind of technology be incorporated onto trains, buses, airplanes, cars, bicycles and so on? Why can't the same concept be modified to gather electricity from the movement of waves in the sea? Moral Solution Everyone in the world must plant a tree every year and nurture them. Altruism, altruism. While tribal and religious divisions exist man will not as a whole move forward. Only a privileged few will benefit. ONLY by trying to eliminate the bigots (which if there only is 3 people in existence there will be a bigot) might we stand any chance of moving forward. First step, stop ALL arms manufacture, make ALL nations disband armies and supply the UN with men to make a creditable and powerful international army cum police force. Population Management/Raising Children We must convince every woman on the planet Earth to have only one, or at most two, children. And convince every man to help raise them to be better than ourselves. Human-Animal Relations I have an idea for solutions on animals on road in India and most particular in the state of Gujarat. It is high time to amend the law to the effect that If any animal will be found on road than the owner of the animal will be punished with certain imprisonment, and not fine. Moral Solution I think the best way to make our world a better place is for all individuals to remain honest. The most important thing for all people to do now is to believe in, accept, follow, learn the teachings of Rev. & Mrs. Moon, who are the Second Coming of Christ, King and Queen of All Mankind. It takes one person just one person to make a change and I know it starts from me. Or am I different from other Nigerians who have made waves to project the image of these country positively, the most happiest people, the most religious, Human & Material resource.
